Effective branding, straight up

Welcome to the Kleber & Associates blog! Here’s the latest on Effective branding, straight up

Embracing the opportunity to really get its brand name in the face of the general public is Absolut Vodka, which is giving bus shelters a makeover in various areas of Chicago.

The company is taking three of its flavored vodkas and celebrity endorsers and marketing them right where people will see them: on city streets for passerbys both in car and on foot to take notice. Decking out bus stops in either Bloody Mary red, Lemon Drop yellow or lime green, Absolut morphed ordinary waiting areas into colorful environments just urging you to order a cocktail.

Absolut’s outdoor advertising follows its “Every Drink is an Exceptional Experience” campaign, and true to form, makes waiting for a bus an experience. Even the benches have been replaced with comfortable and stylish chairs. There’s no getting around it… Absolut’s brand surrounds those who wait in its refreshing, colorful and alluring shelters.

What other brands have you seen that demand to be noticed with their advertising?
